キャンペーン全般

難易度はまとめて解除可能だが、難易度エキスパートはキャンペーンクリア時にアンロックされる。
したがって、1周目ノーマル（収集物、各種キル実績を消化）、2周目エキスパートでプレイするのが無難。
一般的なTPSの最高難易度と比較してもそれほど難しくは無いはず。
なお、2周目は「NEW GAME」ではなく「CHAPTER REPLAY」から始めると、覚えた魔法が全て引き継がれる。

チャレンジ全般

実績コンプには各チャレンジをゴールドランク以上のタイムでクリアすればOK（プラチナランクではない）。
射撃精度、死亡数、魔法コンボ、クイックスタンの評価によって、チャレンジ終了時にボーナスとしてタイムが減算される。
魔法コンボを狙っていけば、大半は楽にゴールドランク以上が取れる。
コンボといっても2コンボなので、特に格ゲー神のような上級操作は求められないの。心配御無用。

収集物全般

比較的数はかなり少なめだが、分かりづらい場所もあるためTAなどで紹介されている動画確認推奨。
収集状況はチャプターセレクトで確認可能。取りこぼし回収は拾った時点でメインメニューに戻ってもOK。
The Streets of Hogsmeadeにあるひとつはワープを習得してからでないと取れない。

Care of the Castle

脱出パートでHogwarts内のオブジェクトを壊していく必要があるが、10個以内に抑えてクリアすると解除。
石柱だけに絞って壊していけば解除できる。

Having a Blast

意識せずとも最初のレベルで終了直前に遭遇するドラゴンのところで解除される。

Now You See Me

後半で覚える魔法だが、あまり使いどころが無いため意識して消化する必要がある。
とはいえ、それほど時間がかかるものではないので、収集物の取りこぼし回収のときにでも狙うと良い。
